Brec Bassinger

Bio:
Brec Bassinger (born May 25, 1999 in Saginaw, Texas) is an American actress. She is most known for her role as “Bella” in the Nickelodeon series Bella and the Bulldogs. Before her acting career took off, Brec was a multi-talented athlete, playing basketball, volleyball, and track and field. Also, similarly to her character in Bulldogs, she used to be a competitive cheerleader. Her first TV role was as Zoe Macintosh on The Goldbergs. In 2017, she will be starring in Status Update, alongside co-stars Ross Lynch, Gregg Sulkin, and Olivia Holt.

Best Known For:
Brec is best known for playing Bella, but also has guest-starred in numerous other television shows such as School of Rock and The Haunted Hathaways.

Personal Life:
Brec currently resides in Los Angeles with her mother, while the rest of her family lives back in her home state of Texas. She suffers from Type 1 diabetes. “I’ve always felt if you dwell on your struggles then you’ll start to get more of them because that is what you think on and that’s what you see,” Brec shared of her struggle in an interview with BYOU magazine. “If you focus on the positive, then you’ll start noticing all the things you do have, and therefore that will bring on more amazing things.”
