Alicia Machado (born December 6, 1976, in Maracay, Venezuela) is an actress, TV host, singer and was Miss Universe in 1996, becoming the fourth woman from Venezuela to win the title. She has openly spoken out against Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump.
Best Known For:
Alicia is best known for being Miss Universe 1996, and speaking out against Donald, who called her “Mrs. Piggy” because she gained weight and “Mrs. Housekeeping” because of her race.
Personal Life:
In 2005, Alicia was engaged to baseball star Bobby Abreu, but their engagement ended after she was filmed on camera having sex with a fellow cast member on a TV show. On June 25, 2008, she gave birth to her daughter, Dinorah Valentina, and issued a statement that the baby’s father was her best friend and Mexican businessman Rafael Hernandez Linares, as news sources were reporting that the father was drug lord Gerardo Alvarez-Vazquez. In May 2016 she became a U.S. citizen.
