Alden Ehrenreich (born Alden Caleb Ehrenreich in Los Angeles on November 22 1989) is an American actor. Alden was discovered at age 14, by Steven Spielberg, who saw him perform in a short comedy sketch at a friend’s Bat Mitzvah. This meeting began his career, and in 2007 he landed the lead role in Francis Ford Coppala’s independent film, Tetro. In 2009, he founded the theatre and film company, The Collectin, with Zoe Worth.

He will play Ethan Wate in the paranormal love franchise, Beautiful Creatures, which is released in February 2013.
