Pregnant Brittany Cartwright, 31, is proud of her changing body! The Vanderpump Rules alum stunned in a series of sexy new selfies showing off her big bare bump posted to Instagram on Saturday, Jan. 2. “I got glammed up and did a selfie shoot lol it’s important to feel confident in your body especially during quarantine + pregnancy,” she began the caption on the post. Brittany evoked old Hollywood glamour with her voluminous, cascading curls, black liner and peach glossy lip.
She sported just a strapless nude colored bra for the snaps, which showed off the arrow tattoo on her wrist. Brittany — who recently confirmed she’s 25 weeks along — also shared an update on her pregnancy. “Everything is growing – my lips, my feet, my belly, my boobs lol!” she revealed to her 1.5 million followers, sharing that getting glammed up was a special treat. “Getting some makeup on and your hair done can make a huge difference in your mood, I know this first hand! I’m feeling good today and getting excited for a maternity shoot!!” she also wrote.
The reality star confirmed she was expecting her first child with husband Jax Taylor, 41, in September after teasing they were “trying.” “Mom & Dad. The love of our lives is coming soon,” Brittany wrote at the time, including an adorable photo of Jax cradling her bump on a staircase. Later that month, the couple excitedly confirmed they were expecting a boy with a lavish gender reveal party.
Brittany has been a breath of fresh air as she’s documented her pregnancy experience, confidently clapping back at haters who’ve body shamed her. “I am so proud of my body for creating my son. I have had days where I let negative comments from strangers get me down, but WHY!?” she posted on Dec. 29, once again showing off her bump in gray leggings and a crop top.
“I am growing a perfect and healthy human being who I have only dreamed of my entire life. I am going to give my body the respect it deserves and shout it from the rooftops how lucky and blessed I feel to experience this pregnancy…don’t let opinions of others get you down, you will be the best mother to your beautiful baby just like me!!” she added.
Since announcing their pregnancy, it was announced that both Jax and Brittany would also be leaving Vanderpump Rules. Jax made the announcement on his Instagram page, shocking fans. “The last 8 years on Vanderpump Rules have been some of the most challenging, rewarding and fulfilling years of my life…Although this is difficult to share, Brittany and I will not be returning for another season of Vanderpump Rules,” he wrote on Dec. 4.
