‘The Masked Singer’ Recap: A Legendary Singer-Songwriter Is Revealed As Broccoli In Group C Finals

'The Masked Singer' celebrated Thanksgiving by revealing the identity of Broccoli at the end of the Group C finals.

The Masked Singer’s special Thanksgiving episode just happens to be the Group C finals. The Jellyfish, Mushroom, and Broccoli are fighting it out for two spots in the Super Six. SNL alum Jay Pharoah joins the panelists for the Group C finals.

The Jellyfish is up first, and she reveals that she’s a Masked Singer superfan. Her sister, whose job centers around crunching numbers, offers up some clues in the new package. There’s a nail file, gold stapler, and more Xs and Os in the clue package. She wows with her performance of Dua Lipa’s “Don’t Start Now.” Her final clue is that she’s “never performed on a stage quite like this before.” The guesses are Charli XCX, Kylie Jenner, and McKayla Maroney.

The Mushroom is next. His friend is a real-life government agent and reveals that Mushroom has always been a “go-getter.” Mushroom was even Class President by in the day and has spent his time “helping underprivileged youth.” He dazzles with a performance of Katy Perry’s “Unconditionally.” He also tells the panelists that the “name that I go by now was not my name when I first sprouted.” The panelists guess the Mushroom could be Jaden Smith, Taye Diggs, or The Weeknd.

The Broccoli is the final performance of the Group C finals. He admits that he’s “no stranger to women fawning over me.” The leading ladies in his life say he’s “always been the greatest showman,” and his “showbiz stories are legendary. His clue package features a Jason Voorhees mask, which could be a major clue. Broccoli rocks out to “Old Time Rock & Roll” by Bob Seger. He tells the panelists as his final clue that the microwave was invented after he was born. The guesses include Al Roker, Ringo Starr, and Paul Anka.

The Jellyfish is sent straight to the Super Six, so that means Mushroom and Broccoli have to battle it out in a smackdown. Despite a valiant effort, Broccoli is eliminated. PAUL ANKA is revealed as Broccoli! Robin Thicke’s guess was right!
