Blake Shelton , 44, and Gwen Stefani, 51, who got engaged in October, after 5 years together, are now back at work on The Voice and busier than ever. Their schedules are “so packed” over the coming months that they opted to shuffle their holiday plans and actually celebrated Thanksgiving with Blake’s family a month early in Oklahoma. But, they won’t be skipping Christmas, multiple sources tell HollywoodLife EXCLUSIVELY.

“Blake and Gwen are in work mode right now,” a source close to the loved up couple explains. “They haven’t been worrying about the holidays that much, especially since they celebrated Thanksgiving already. And the next few weeks with the times they will be away for The Voice later this month and next is something that is going to take a majority of their time.”

While Gwen and Blake are busy with work, her sons — Kingston, 14, Zuma, 12 and Apollo, 6, — will spend time with their dad Gavin Rossdale, 54. “They have some alone time coming up because the kids will be spending some more time with Gavin,” adds our source, who explains that the couple will keep their time off simple. “They will just be relaxing and watching football and TV. Keeping it simple. That will be enough for them this year. They are not making a big deal of Thanksgiving since they have so many other commitments to handle.”

A second source close to the couple says they are enjoying being super busy, after having so much downtime this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. “Gwen and Blake’s schedules are so packed right now, they have pretty well gone from zero to 100. It’s a big change after so much time off, but also very welcome. They absolutely love what they do and being able to work together is still their ultimate.”

“None of the shine has worn off,” continues our source. “If anything now that they’re engaged they seem to be even more in love. This whole holiday season is going to be so busy for both of them. Between The Voice and their other commitments, plus they are both working on music. They won’t be having the usual huge family Thanksgiving in Oklahoma this year like they normally do because they’re both too busy. They did something in Oklahoma last month with family to make up for it. But they will still make a big deal out of Christmas, that’s a given.”

Of course, Christmas came early for Gwen, who finally showed off a close-up looks of her stunning engagement ring on November 15. The “You Make It Feel Like Christmas” singer flashed the massive ring from her new fiancé on her Instagram Story, while in the car on the way to the People’s Choice Awards.

In the selfie video, Gwen wore a mask and explained that Blake, who was nominated — and won — for Country Artist of the Year, was going into the awards while she was staying in the car due to COVID19 restrictions.

“So basically I have to stay in the car because of COVID but I’m here to support Blake in case he wins,” she said in the video, while showing off her sparkling ring.

Although Gwen and Blake have yet to share any details on the jaw dropping diamond engagement ring, as HollywoodLife previously reported, it was custom designed and is estimated to be worth half-a-million dollars. No doubt, Santa will have a hard time topping that.
