Charlie Puth brought the heat on the May 9 episode of The Voice! The singer took the stage to rock out to his newest song, “Attention,” and he totally got the crowd going as he jammed out. Charlie actually served as a mentor on season 11 of the NBC show, so it was only fitting that he returned to sing on season 12, now that he has a new song out. Wearing black pants and a red polo, the 25-year-old took center stage amongst a bevy of gorgeous dancers in black outfits — he even got up close and personal with one of the gals at one point!
“Attention,” which many think is about Bella Thorne, who Charlie had a brief fling with at the end of 2016, was just released on April 21, but it’s already quickly making its way up the charts. It is the lead single off of Charlie’s upcoming second album, although the record does not have a release date just yet. This is certainly a good start, though!
It’s hard to believe that the 25-year-old just burst onto the music scene in 2015 when he collaborated with Wiz Khalifa on “See You Again.” Since then, he released “Marvin Gaye” with Meghan Trainor, as well as the hit “We Don’t Talk Anymore,” which features Selena Gomez. Charlie’s debut album came out in January 2016, so we’re definitely ready for something new this year!
