Saturday, Dec. 10, was an emotional day for Louis Tomlinson. He performed on the finale of The X Factor just three days after his mother, Johannah Deakin‘s, death, but fortunately, he was reunited with his One Direction bandmates, who flew in to show their support. Also on hand was Louis’ younger sister, Lottie, whom he was pictured wrapping a protective arm around later that night. CLICK HERE TO SEE MORE PICS!

While heading to London’s Cirque Le Soir to celebrate their late mother’s life, and joined by Liam Payne and Niall Horan, the singer, 24, did his best to comfort Lottie.

“It was family and friends drinks in Cirque, all paid for by Johannah’s husband Dan,” a source told Daily Mail. “It was a celebration of her life and his X Factor performance. It was a very emotional night.”

Even when they left the club, Louis’ arm remained wrapped around Lottie. He clearly tried his best to be the caring and devoted big brother that she needs right now.

As we previously told you, Louis appeared on The X Factor earlier in the night to perform his debut solo single, “Just Hold On,” with Steve Aoki.

Harry [Styles], Niall and Liam all came down to X Factor to support Louis. They all were backstage with him supporting him. It was a lovely moment – and shows the unity of 1D. First time all back together in a year. It was a lovely touching moment backstage and they all came to support Louis during a horrible time. Niall even flew back from New York,” a source told the site.

Our thoughts continue to go out to Louis, his family and friends during this difficult time in their lives.
