Renato was a multi-talented young man. He hosted the shows Zona Trendy and E! Latin News, acted and modeled for several television commercials, and was the former guitarist for the band The Prom Kings, which broke up in 2011. Since then, he wrote songs for many Latin music stars. One of the biggest hits he penned was “Fuego Con Fuego,” an anthem sung by Mexican pop star Gloria Trevi. The singer called Renato an “excellent friend, talented composer and truly good person.”

Renato has been dating fashion blogger Alexandra Ivanisevic, for seven years. The gorgeous young woman had moved to Mexico City from Sweden shortly before that. The duo had just traveled to Sayulita, Mexico one week before his death for a romantic getaway, and she recently posted a photo of them hugging with the message “You and me until the end of time ❤️” Our heart goes out to Alexandra and the rest of Renato’s friends and family in this terribly tragic time.
