Kim Kardashian ‘Broke Down’ Watching Kanye West’s Sweet Birthday Video

Kanye West gave wife Kim Kardashian the best birthday present ever on Oct. 21 when he surprised her with a sweet family video tribute, and HollywoodLife.com has learned that Kim ‘broke down in tears’ when she watched it. So sweet!

Best. Husband. Ever. Kanye West, 39, showed how much he loves Kim Kardashian, 36, on her birthday on Oct. 21 when he put together a montage of old family videos for her, and she couldn’t have been more blown away by it. “Kim was totally surprised by Kanye’s sweet, sweet video,” a source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “She doesn’t even know how he found all of that old footage. When he showed it to her, she completely broke down in tears, she was so touched. Seeing her father and hearing his voice again was just too much. It was amazing. Remembering him and their family was just what she needed after feeling so shaken up by the robbery.” So sweet!

As we previously told you, the “Gold Digger” rapper’s sweet video footage was actually filmed by Kim’s late father, Robert Kardashian, who she was so close to. Kim has previously shared old home videos that he recorded for her on her birthdays. “Hi papa! Watch me go,” a little Kim exclaimed in Kanye’s video while she strutted on roller skates. Her dad laughed and encouraged her, and seriously, we couldn’t help but tear up ourselves while watching it.

While the mystery remains of how Kanye actually got all this amazing, never-before-seen home video footage, we don’t know. What we do know is that after Kim’s horrifying robbery at gunpoint in Paris, Kanye’s video and hearing her late dad’s voice were just what she needed. Seriously, Kanye deserves an official Best Husband Award immediately!
