Umm…can we talk about how incredible The Chainsmokers and Halsey’s performance was at the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards?! The guys kicked things off with the first verse of “Closer,” with Halsey joining once it was time for her incredible second verse — and she looked incredible in white pants with a sequined strip paired with a SUPER short matching crop top that showed off major under boob.

Things started getting really steamy in the middle of the performance when the two singers stood face to face and came this close to basically making out right there on stage! Then, later on, The Chainsmokers singer Drew Taggart, grabbed Halsey from behind and ran his hand right down her stomach. Is this even appropriate for MTV?! Either way, we were totally into it!

Although The Chainsmokers have already had a few radio hits like “Don’t Let Me Down” and “Roses,” this is without a doubt their biggest song yet! It’s the duo’s first song song to hit No. 1 on the Billboard charts, and fans have been absolutely loving it, so we’re so excited that they were able to bring a live version to this awards show.

Earlier this month, Drew surprised the crowd at Halsey’s Madison Square Garden concert in New York City to sing “Closer,” and the crowd went absolutely NUTS! Needless to say, this is a huge start for this EDM duo and we can’t wait to see what they put out next. Until then, we’ll be listening to “Closer” over and over and over again…

HollywoodLifers, what did you think of the performance? Are you loving this song?
