Rita Ora: Calvin Harris’ ‘Ole’ About Her, Not Taylor Swift? – Hollywood Life

Calvin Harris’ ‘Ole’: Was It Actually Inspired By Rita Ora, Not Taylor Swift?

Could the speculation that Calvin Harris' song 'Ole' is about Taylor Swift cheating be totally off-base?! After examining the lyrics a few times, we've realized that there might actually be a connection to one of the DJ's other high-profile exes, Rita Ora. Hmm... Things didn't end great between Calvin Harris, 32, and Rita Ora, 25, when they broke up in 2014, but is it possible that she, not Taylor Swift, 26, is the subject of his scathing new song "Ole"?! “You’ve hidden my name on your phone so you can call me to tell me you’ve been going through hell, left him alone and you booked in a hotel,” John Newman sings in one verse of the song, which was written by Calvin. Interestingly, it has been reported that Calvin and Rita’s split went down after he found out she’d been spending time at a hotel while they were both in the same city.

“It all ended when [their] driver suggested to Calvin that he had taken Rita to a hotel two days earlier instead of driving her to stay with him,” The Sun reported in 2014. Hmm…so could this song lyric suggest that “Ole” is actually about Rita, not Taylor!?

As we previously reported, the “Wildest Dreams” singer was well-aware of the song, because it was written before she and Calvin broke up and before Tom Hiddleston, 35, was even in the picture, according to sources.

Regardless, the 26-year-old definitely seems to be brushing the speculative song under the rug. Instead, she’s been out and about, enjoying time with her new man — they just landed in Australia together on July 8. Tom is set to start filming the movie Thor Down Under, and it’s just too sweet that Tay flew all that way to be with him while he works!

HollywoodLifers, who do you think inspired “Ole”? If it’s about Rita, why do you think Calvin released it now?
