Muhammad’s first wife is Sonji Roi, a cocktail waitress who he met just one month before they tied the knot in Aug. 1964. The relationship was fairly short-lived, though, as the couple divorced in Jan. 1966, and they had no kids together.

Just a year and a half later, Muhammad married Belinda Boyd in Aug. 1967: She converted to his Islam religion and changed her name to Khalilah. Together, the pair had four kids: Maryum, Jamillah and Rasheda (twins), and Muhammad Ali Jr.

During his relationship with Belinda, Muhammad started seeing Veronica Porsche in 1975. The affair ruined his second marriage by 1977, and he married Veronica that summer, while she was already pregnant with their daughter, Hana. Their second daughter, Laila, was born in Dec. 1977, and the couple split up in 1986.

Muhammad then married Yolonda Williams in Nov. 1986, and they adopted a son, Assad Amin. He was married to Yolonda, who he’d been friends with since 1964, at the time of his death on June 3.

In addition to the four marriages, Muhammad also had known relationships with two other known women: He had a daughter named Miya with Patrica Harvell and a love child with Wanda Bolton, who he allegedly had an affair with while married to Belinda.

Muhammad passed away on June 3 after being hospitalized for a respiratory infection the day before. Our hearts are with his family during this difficult time.
