Their wedding comes just a few weeks after her on-screen husband Trai Byers got married to their Empire co-star Grace Gealey, so we hope Kaitlin didn’t feel like she was ‘pushed’ down the aisle! But it was Kaitlin herself who confirmed the news to Us Weekly.
“I’m excited to be married to [Devin],” Doubleday, who wore a stunning Mark Zunino gown for the day, told the tabloid magazine. “I just want to have fun and go on our honeymoon and enjoy our home and have fun with our friends and not be thinking about planning a wedding. I’m really excited about that.”
Amen, sister! Kaitlin and Devin DID write their own vows for the ceremony that was staged in front of the Pacific Ocean, which they shared with 140 guest, including close friends and family.
Kaitlin and Devin got engaged back in May, 2015 during a romantic trip to Paris. They’d been dating for two and half years before she announced her good news on Instagram showing off her massive sparkler.
Lucky for Kaitlin she’s on hiatus from filming the show at the moment, so she can enjoy a romantic honeymoon. The happy couple are planning on going to Greece! Have a great time!
