On the night that the rest of the world was sitting in front of their television memorizing every moment of Beyoncé’s Lemonade visual album, Kim was busy posting on social media about every fun moment she was having, and trust us when we say there were plenty.
Many people saw this as her attempt to put the spotlight back on herself. A spotlight that had been off of her for all of one night before her Instagram account mysteriously started being flooded with sexy selfies of her at a friends wedding in Miami. I’m talking black and white, noir inspired, glamour pics that demand to be seen. Coincidence?
Obviously she wanted the internet talking about these photos. Especially some of the more close up glamour shots of her certain assets. Fortunately Kim was just having fun and had no intention of stealing attention from her good friend Bey. “Kim was just having a lot of fun at the wedding, it was a great time. She was being goofy and enjoying the moment — she wasn’t thinking about anything else and honestly didn’t even realize Beyoncé dropped the album at the same time,” a source dished to HollywoodLife.com. Since no one really knew that Lemonade was going to make the world stop on it’s axis for a night, it is possible that she was just simply posting pictures of her fabulous night out with her dashing husband, Kanye West. Once the photo’s went viral and people started accusing her of stealing the spotlight from Beyoncé, she spoke up to clear the air. “I don’t think I’ve ever gotten so many text messages from friends asking if I was drunk, LOL! Kanye and I went to our friend Dave Grutman‘s wedding in Miami, and it’s been a while since our friends have been together and all dressed up, so we were just feeling inspired and wanted to take fun pics,” Kim said in a message posted to her app.
Beyoncé is still rightfully on her throne, and Kim got to make an attempt at being an artsy Instagrammer for a night, so all is well that ends well. But she better watch her back, because the Bey-Hive doesn’t take too kindly to people messing with Beyoncé.
