“Miranda and Blake had talked about having kids a number of times, but it wasn’t like either of them were pushing that hard for it during their marriage. Miranda had worked on herself mentally, emotionally and physically. She was proud of the weight she had lost and wanted to enjoy it for a while. Blake would say he wanted to start a family, but he was always working, in the studio, on tour or on The Voice. It’s disheartening to hear that Blake didn’t want to have kids. Especially because his new girlfriend, Gwen Stefani, 46, has three children of her own — Kingston, 9, Zuma, 7, and Apollo, 20 months.
Divorces are never fun and we may never truly know the answer for why Blake and Miranda decided to split, but we hope they both find what they’re looking for. Blake seems happy with Gwen, so we can only hope Miranda finds the same with someone in the near future.
