The throwback clip, posted to the show’s official Facebook page, comes from the reality series’ fourth season. The 1 minute video starts out with 14-year-old Kendall producing her parents with a book of photographs of herself that she was hoping to use to break into the modeling world — a dream she’d had since she was just seven years old.
While Kris is totally on-board, Caitlyn Jenner (then-Bruce Jenner), is beyond skeptical…and an unrecognizable-looking Kylie is beyond jealous. “If you want to help her model, you can help her model,” she tells Kris. “But it’s just going to get to her head and all of us are going to be in her little throne listening to her.”
In a mocking tone she adds, “We’re going to be like, ‘Oh my God! You’re right! You’re, like, the coolest in the family because you model when you’re 14!'” Without even giving anyone a chance to respond, Kylie storms out of the room and her three family members look on, stunned. “What’s gotten into her?” Kris questions.
It’s no secret that there’s always been some sisterly competition between these two, and Kendall even revealed in the Kardashian/Jenner Cosmopolitan cover that her modeling career always struck a sore spot with Kylie. “She’s a Leo so she loves attention, and at certain points when we were younger, it bothered her that I was getting attention in terms of my modeling,” she told the mag. “I think that’s a natural younger sister thing — to be jealous. I was jealous of her sometimes, too! But now, she loves what I do and supports me.”
