Miranda Lambert Felt ‘Abandoned’ By Blake Shelton Because Of ‘The Voice’

'The Voice' turned Blake Shelton from a top country singer to a mainstream superstar, but for Miranda Lambert, the hit show also caused a strain to her marriage. Amid other reasons, Miranda even blames the singing competition as a contributing factor in her divorce, a new report claims. Blake Shelton, 39, and Miranda Lambert, 31, tied the knot just as The Voice's first season became a phenomenon in 2011, but they probably didn't know just how big the show would become four years and eight seasons later. Unfortunately, the "Somethin' Bad" singer reportedly feels that Blake's crazy schedule for the singing competition also took a toll on her relationship.

To Miranda, The Voice was a continuous source of conflict in the marriage, TMZ reports, and since the “Sangria” singer had to spend so much time in Los Angeles to work, they weren’t able to spend as much time together as she hoped. The site claims that Miranda “hates” L.A., but was forced to travel there often to see her hubby, even just for a day, at times.

Unfortunately, the sources say Blake wasn’t able to reciprocate the favor and make the effort to go see her, and Miranda really began to feel ‘abandoned,’ causing a major relationship strain. But, come on, The Voice has been such an amazing platform for Blake, and you can see in every single episode how dedicated and happy he is being there! We can totally feel how hard it must be for Miranda with the constant distance, but Blake having limited time just means he was putting so much effort into making his contestants the best they could be. And it’s paid off: He’s won four times! Click to hear more about the Miranda and Blake split.

For years, there have been rumors that Blake has gotten too close to some of the female contestants on the show, but, as HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY reported, that’s definitely not the case. “He is more of a father figure than anything else to his contestants and anything sexual is nonexistent,” an insider told us EXCLUSIVELY. “It’s just not happening at all. He is and has been completely professional the whole time.”

Of course, as we already know, the exes’ problems go far beyond these allegations about The Voice. Both have reportedly claimed the other cheated, and they’ve also allegedly been having problems for quite some time. Unfortunately, although the divorce is finalized, they may have some more problems to come — because a new report claims Miranda’s pregnant, but didn’t find out until after the split! Uh-oh!
