It’s shocking that she’d be the last to hear the news, given that the papers were reportedly filed by Blake in Oklahoma several months ago — and the fact that she has an incredibly strong relationship with her superstar daughter. At one time, Beverly was Miranda’s main confidant.
When the “Over You” singer was thought to be pregnant with Blake’s child in 2013, her mom immediately shut down the rumor — insisting that she’d be the first to hear about it. “They are totally not expecting,” she told the site at the time. “And I’m fairly certain I’d be the first to know.”
