Robbie Amell Loves Italia Ricci — Raves Over Fiancée In Interview
Robbie and Italia got engaged in August 2014, but they’re in no rush to tie the knot — and it won’t happen until 2016.
“She wants a long engagement. She loves the word ‘fiancé,'” Robbie told us. “Whatever she wants, she’s going to get, I figure I have one or two vetoes and I’m going to keep those for something that really matters.”
Well, we think that’s pretty smart on his part right? However, he probably won’t have much to veto — they get along amazing!
“When we got engaged, I said, I’m marrying my best friend. It’s totally true,” Robbie told us in the interview. “We do everything together, we have so much fun, and now we’ve got the rest of our lives to do that.”
And as for kids — “definitely one day, but not right now. I’m trying to take care of our dogs!”

Robbie told us that the pair met in Cheaper by the Dozen 2 and had a conversation at a bar — one that he didn’t remember the next time they saw each other and she got mad! However, their next role together, all was forgiven — it was in American Pie Presents Beta House! Afterward, he convinced her to move to LA to act.
So, what happens if one gets cast in a more controversial role? Right now, he’s starring on The Flash while she’s on ABCFamily’s Chasing Life. But if they had a fully naked sex scene, he’s actually not sure they’d do it.
“We’ve talked about if an HBO show comes along that involves nudity, or a lot of sex scenes. What’s really worth this to us, now that we’re starting this life together? It would have to be a really, really special project, like Martin Scorsese would have to be calling and say he wanted us to do an HBO show,” he told us. “I can’t even imagine. I’m already flustered about it.”
Don’t get flustered, Robbie — you definitely have an amazing fiancée who HollywoodLife absolutely loves. Definitely one of the cutest couples on TV, right?
