Julianne Hough Outs Jonathan Bennett As Gay
Julianne’s interview with the Extra host may have started off about the new season of Dancing With The Stars, but things quickly turned personal. Julianne made a major reveal about Dancing With The Stars contestant Jonathan.
“He tweeted at me last year and said I had a nice butt, and I thought, ‘Oh he’s hitting on me—I should try to go on a date with him!’” she said in the interview.
“What happened?” Mario asked in return.
“He’s gay – so I was like, ”That’s not gonna work!” Julianne replied. Whoa.

Julianne Hough ‘Not Afraid’ To Be Tough On Derek Hough
Season 19 of Dancing With The Stars featured major changes on the ballroom and at the judges table. Julianne went from dancing pro to judge on the new season.
Her brother, Derek Hough, is paired with YouTube sensation Bethany Mota, and Julianne told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY that she was going to treat Derek just like any other pro.
“It’s not me judging my brother — it’s me judging the collaboration and connection that he has with his partner and the growth that I see her do,” Julianne told HollywoodLife.com. “If I see something where I’m like, ‘Yo Derek, you didn’t up your game with your partner, she could have done better this week,’ then I will call him out for sure. I’m not afraid of that. But he knows and hopefully everybody else knows too, it’s never to diss anybody or call anybody out, it’s because I really do want to see the people improve.”
