Sheer is seriously in, but these stars took it to a whole new level in their scandalous looks. Who do you think donned the most revealing get-up? VOTE. While we're all for making a statement, these stars have managed to amaze us in their gravity-defying dresses, (in fact, some have even stepped out sans undergarments!). Not only did they make the choice to show off a lot of skin in their strategic looks, but they somehow did it with ease and looked so cool and confident in the process -- however we wouldn't recommend trying these looks at home!

Sheer Dresses On The Red Carpet:

Strategic sheer panels, (like the chest cutout in Kylie Jenner‘s mini), seem to be the most popular way to rock this trend — but that certainly doesn’t mean that’s the only way these stars are showing lots of skin! Stylish songstresses like Miley Cyrus and Rihanna went the sporty route when they swapped sheer for mesh dresses — and didn’t wear practically anything underneath.

While it doesn’t surprise us to see Miley or RiRi step out in something scandalous, we are amazed by how many actresses have decided to suit up in sheer. The trend has seriously taken over the stylish set in Hollywood! Take, for example, Thor star Jaimie Alexander, who stole the spotlight in her very revealing Azzaro gown at the LA premiere on Nov. 4. The dress barely covered up her assets, and it’s clear she took a page right out of Gwyneth Paltrow‘s book — after all, who could forget her now infamous dress Antonio Berardi dress that she showed off at the Iron Man 3 premiere? (It was a very cheeky look!).

Strategic sheer panels are so popular on the red carpet, and the stylish Zoe Saldana also decided to try trend, deciding to leave her underwear at home just like Gwyn and Jaimie!

While those gals stuck to sheer panels, Paula Patton switched it up at the Baggage Claim premiere when she sizzled in a virtually sheer dress, (thank goodness for the strategic floral pattern!).

Sure, these stars have made sheer look both sexy and chic, but we can’t talk about revealing looks without referencing Rose McGowan‘s interesting VMAs dress, (or lack thereof).
