The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star has made a career out of being photographed in public and attending events on a regular basis, but all of that has been put on hold since the birth of her first child. Even when the whole family got together for the Fourth of July, and Kendall, Kylie, Bruce and Kris Jenner were all snapped in a slew of pics, Kim and boyfriend Kanye West were noticeably absent from the family photos.
A source close to the Kardashian family reveals why the new mom has been so content not being out in public — for once, she doesn’t have to worry about a packed schedule!
“She has always had a schedule with every hour of the day taken,” an insider told Us Weekly. “Now, she hasn’t had her hair or makeup done since she had the baby.”

The new mom is also in a hurry to shed all of the baby weight she gained during her first pregnancy, and doesn’t want to step in front of a camera lens until she feels comfortable in her post-baby body!
“She says she won’t go out until she’s thinner,” a source tells Us Weekly. With how much backlash she got for her pregnant figure, it’s no wonder she’s waiting until she feels better about her bod!
