Courtney Love & Marilyn Manson Are The New Faces Of St. Laurent

It looks like the star is reviving her modeling career in a very interesting campaign for the fashion brand -- and she wasn't the only surprising face to sign on! See who else was chosen for the Saint Laurent 'Music Project' right here. 48-year-old Courtney Love was announced as the face of the most recent St. Laurent campaign along with some other household names that may be considered somewhat untraditional for the fashion house. Love will be joined by Kim Gordon, 59, Ariel Pink, 34, and Marilyn Manson, 44, to debut the punk-themed attire in the Saint Laurent Music Project.

Saint Laurent Music Project:

Designer Hedi Slimane, 44, previously featured Beck and Sky Ferreira as campaign faces, making it evident that he is inspired by the rocker theme. While he’s been consistent with his choice of musicians to uphold that look, he definitely took it a step further by letting his models style themselves to capture the utmost authenticity…and they really went wild with that freedom. They accessorized the designer pieces with crowns, fur and instruments!

The campaign features some outlandish shots of the stars, who each have their own edgy reputation. For example, Love can be seen donning a pinstriped suit and silk ruffle shirt while letting loose on her guitar. Eccentric looks, (like this one), are mixed in with a slew of biker ensembles that only a true rockstar could pull off!

Courtney Love’s Saint Laurent Campaign:

While Love was clearly a perfect fit for the look Slimane is going for, he has already grown accustomed to shooting the star prior to this campaign. He also has worked on a number of shoots with Love’s daughter, Frances Bean Cobain.

Courtney seems to be everywhere these days. Not only did the star sign with Saint Laurent, but she also starred in a hysterical promotional video for electronic cigarette brand NJOY.
