Chris Brown Wants To Give Back To Kids

If you thought Chris only cared about women and music well, you're wrong. Today, Nov 5, the R&B star is launching The Symphonic Love Foundation in Los Angeles which will help young people participate in art programs and public service. Read on to see how Chris is giving back to the community! Chris Brown knows that old saying: to whom much is given, much is expected. And make no mistake, the rapper has taken those words and put them into action with the launch of the Symphonic Love Foundation and we at HollywoodLife.com want to give props to him and his noble charity.

And HollywoodLife.com isn’t the only one who’s excited about the launch, so is Chris! On Nov. 4, the singer tweeted: “Symphonic Love launch party tomorrow. So excited!!!!!!!!!”

We bet you are brother and we’re excited for you too and love the launch of the foundation’s new website as well.

SL supports and creates arts programs for youth while encouraging every day public service, respect and kindness. It believes in the capacity of love and art to change the world. Symphonic Love Foundation is the evolution of Chris Brown’s history of giving back since he was a child.

As HollywoodLife.com’s President & Editor-in-Chief Bonnie Fuller posted Friday, Chris feels just as strongly about supporting programs which educates teens about dating violence – he certainly knows how important that is – and there will be grants for HIV/AIDS programs as well.

“Chris has been extremely generous with both his finances and time with his foundation. He really wanted to find an effective way to help children and teens. And honestly, I have to say Chris is one of the most caring and genuine people I’ve ever worked with on a philanthropic cause,” says a source who’s been involved with the situation.

“This will be one of the most active foundations established by anyone in his generation. He will be actively engaging with young people and his fans with it.”

Again Chris, we’re so happy to hear about this. We bet Rihanna‘s supportive of your work, too, and wonder if she’ll turn out for your big announcement. Good luck with it all!

Also, if you want to join Chris and help raise funds for this amazing foundation, you can with the “Symphonic Love Giving Assistant,” a free social giving app that enables you to raise money for the cause and win prizes while shopping online. Very cool! And the first 5,000 fans to download the Giving Assistant are entered to win an original painting by Chris himself. We’ve included the “Symphonic Love Giving Assistant” link below.
