Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino is an American television personality and reality star, who rose to fame as a cast member on MTV’s reality series, “Jersey Shore”. The show aired for six seasons from December 2009 until December 2012. Mike has been a guest on television shows including, “The Howard Stern Show”, “The Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien”, “The Jay Leno Show”, “Lopez Tonight”, “SportsNation”, “Chelsea Lately”, “The Ellen DeGeneres Show”, and “Conan”. He’s appeared on numerous reality shows including, “Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars”, “Worst Cooks in America”, and “The Choice”. He is currently a cast member on MTV’s “Jersey Shore” spinoff, “Family Vacation”. In October 2018, Mike was sentenced to 8 months in federal prison for tax evasion. Before he began his New York sentence, Mike married Lauren Pesce, his college sweetheart, on November 1, 2018. They wed in front of friends and family, including the cast of Jersey Shore, in New Jersey.
