‘The Lion King’ red carpet premiere took place at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, CA on July 9, 2019. The feature is a live-action remake of the classic Disney animated film and was released 25 years after the original. Donald Glover portrays the main role of Simba while Beyonce portrays Nala. Seth Rogan plays the role of Pumbaa and Billy Eichner plays Timon. James Earl Jones plays the powerful role of Mufasa.

Between Beyonce’s vocals in some of the songs to the talented acting talents of the cast, the live-action remake of ‘The Lion King’ was a highly anticipated film from the moment it was announced. The movie brings back the nostalgia of the original childhood favorite but also gives a new twist to the classic.
