A Detroit native, Tee Grizzley (real name Terry Wallace Jr.) made his debut in the rap world with the track “First Day Out,” which he released shortly after finishing a prison sentence for a charge of home invasion in the second degree. The track was an immediate hit, and the music video has now surpassed 120 million views on YouTube. He followed that success with the release of a debut mixtape, ‘My Moment,’ in April 2017, which earned him a 2017 BET Award nomination for “Best Nomination.” Tee was also nominated for “Best New Hip-Hop Artist” at that year’s award show!
Tee’s debut studio album, ‘Activated,’ arrived in May 2018 and he received a nomination for “Push Artist of the Year” at the 2018 MTV Video Music Awards. He has collaborated with big names in the industry like Lil Yachty on the tracks “From The D To The A” and “Get Money Bros.,” and Meek Mill on “Beef.”
