‘Superman’ 2025 Cast: Pics of the Actors Playing Clark Kent, Lois Lane & More

James Gunn’s ‘Superman’ lands in theaters this week. Meet the cast of the highly anticipated reboot.

James Gunn is reintroducing the world to one of the most iconic superheroes of all time: Superman, a.k.a. Clark Kent. The upcoming film, simply titled Superman, was originally announced as Superman: Legacy but is now slated for release on July 11, 2025—just days away.

The highly anticipated reboot features a stellar cast. David Corenswet takes on the role of the Man of Steel, while Rachel Brosnahan stars as the fearless journalist Lois Lane. Nicholas Hoult will portray Superman’s legendary nemesis, Lex Luthor.

Joining them are Edi Gathegi as Michael Holt/Mister Terrific, Anthony Carrigan as Rex Mason/Metamorpho, Nathan Fillion as Guy Gardner/Green Lantern, and Isabela Merced as Hawkgirl. The film will also introduce Krypto, Superman’s super-powered dog, inspired by director James Gunn’s own rescue pup, Ozu.
