The high school sweethearts met when they were 15 and 14 years old, respectively, at a church youth group in Charlotte, North Carolina. Years later, while Ayesha was in Hollywood pursing an acting career, they reconnected. Steph was visiting for an awards show, hit her up — and the rest was history. Ayesha moved back to Charlotte, close to where Steph’s Davidson College. Steph proposed to Ayesha years later; they got married on July 30, 2011. Together, they’ve welcomed three children into the world: daughters Riley Curry and Ryan Curry, and son Canon Curry. Ayesha has supported Steph throughout his journey to the NBA every step of the way. As a shooting guard for the Golden State Warriors in Oakland, California, Steph garnered worldwide fame. Ayesha, a chef, has praised her love on Instagram time and again as he wins, and loses games. After the Golden State Warriors lost the 2019 NBA Finals to the Toronto Raptors, she posted on Instagram that she loved him so much, and was ‘infinitely proud’ of him.
