Martin Henderson, 47, is a New Zealand-born actor who landed his first professional acting role at the age of 13. He then reached a small level of celebrity in New Zealand when he starred as Stuart Neilson on Shortland Street between 1992 to 1995. From there, he moved to Australia to star in the soap, Echo Point, and then Sweat opposite Heath Ledger. Both series lasted one season. From there, Martin began auditioning for work in America and landed a supporting role in 2002’s Windbreaker, which led to him booking a variety of roles, such as 2002’s The Ring and 2005’s Little Fish, in which he starred opposite Naomi Watts and Cate Blanchett, respectively.
