Lil Wayne (real name Dwayne Michael Carter Jr.) is one of the most high-profile rappers in the hip hop industry, boasting five Grammy wins and 24 nominations. Lil Wayne was just 13 years old when he signed to Cash Money Records, and joined the hip hop group Hot Boys. He released his solo debut album, The Block Is Hot, in 1999 when he was just 17 years old. The talented artist proceeded to drop 12 more studio albums, and is known for hits like “6 Foot 7 Foot,” “Lollipop,” “How to Love,” “She Will” and “A Milli.”

Lil Wayne now owns his own music label, Young Money Entertainment, which has released albums from fellow hip hop legends like Drake and Nicki Minaj. Lil Wayne is the proud dad of four children: daughter Reginae Carter, and sons Dwayne Carter III, Kameron Carter and Neal Carter.
