Lauren is best known as an actress. She started her career in the entertainment industry by appearing in music videos. She went on to appear in various television shows and movies, including the 2006 film ‘ATL’ and the shows ‘90210’ and ‘Entourage.’

In addition to acting, she also gained attention for her personal life. She dated rapper Lil Wayne on and off and had their son, Kameron, in 2009. In 2013, she started dating rapper Nipsey Hussle and was with him up until his tragic murder in 2019. They share a son, Kross, who was born in 2016, together.

After Nipsey’s death, Lauren honored him on numerous occasions. Whether it was through touching posts on social media or in a Puma ad where she revealed a tattoo of his face on her arm.
