World, watch out for Jonah Hauer-King! The dual U.K. and U.S. citizen is making a splash in Hollywood, quite literally, since he was cast as Prince Eric in the live-action remake of The Little Mermaid, and production on the film is reportedly set to begin in 2020. Until then, Jonah has other exciting projects to bide his time! He’ll also appearing in the films Agatha and the Curse of Ishtar and Blumhouse Productions’ Once Upon a Time in Staten Island. The projects add to an already impressive IMDb page that Jonah has been building since 2014. He made his feature film debut in the 2017 British drama The Last Photograph, and went on to star in more movies like Postcards from London, Ashes in the Snow and A Dog’s Way Home.
Jonah has also had roles in the television series Little Women and World on Fire. Before appearing on the big and small screen, Jonah found his footing in theater! The British dreamboat also holds a degree in theology and religious studies from the prestigious Cambridge University, where he graduated from in 2017.
