Johnny Depp Then & Now — Johnny Depp has seriously gone through such a transformation over his decades-long career. The actor, who grew to prominence in the ‘90s with the series ‘21 Jump Street,’ has gone from teen heart-throb, to leading man, and now an actor who keeps a low-profile. But before his personal life was making headlines, Johnny was an incredibly sought-after talent.

He really broke into the industry with the film ‘Edward Scissorhands,’ playing the titular character in Tim Burton’s film. He went on to work with the director for a number of projects, like ‘Corpse Bride,’ ‘Ed Wood,’ ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory,’ and ‘Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street.’

He also made a name for himself in the ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ film series, where he has played Captain Jack Sparrow for over a decade! It was the role that landed Johnny his very first Oscar nomination. He would go on to be nominated twice more.
