Eva Longoria is an American actress, producer, director, activist, and businesswoman who got her start in Hollywood by starring on the soap opera ‘The Young and the Restless’ as Isabella Braña in 2001. After leaving the soap in 2003, she joined the cast of the ABC show ‘Desperate Housewives’, where she quickly became a fan favorite as the hilarious Gabrielle Solis. She was nominated for a Golden Globe Award for Best Performance by an Actress in A Television Series, Musical or Comedy, along with her co-stars, in 2006. When ‘Desperate Housewives’ ended in 2012, she guest-starred in a number of shows, and moved into films. Eva is also a producer, and co-created the mega-hit Lifetime series ‘Devious Maids’.
