Eminem, whose real name is a Marshall Bruce Mathers III, is a rapper, songwriter, record and film producer, record executive and actor from Detroit, Michigan. ‘Rolling Stone’, who labeled him the ‘King of hip hop,’ also included him on its list of 100 of the Greatest Artist of All Time. In 2002, Eminem won the Academy Award for Best Original Song for ‘Lose Yourself’, which was co-written with Jeff Bass and Luis Resto. He became the first rapper to win an Academy Award. Eminem, who is known for his strong and explicit lyrics, has a total of 15 Grammy Awards under his belt. He’s been declared one of the greatest MC’s of all time. The rapper has spoken publicly about his past addiction with prescription drugs. In April 2018, he stated that he was 10 years sober.
