Duane “Dog The Bounty Hunter” Chapman and his fifth wife, Beth Chapman, met in 1986 and continued an on-and-off relationship for many years before eventually marrying in 2006. Dog shocked fans by disclosing that Beth had been diagnosed with stage four throat cancer in November 2018. Later in January 2019, it was reported that she had begun chemotherapy, but Dog told fans that she was foregoing “conventional treatments.”

“They [conventional treatments] don’t work,” he claimed at the time. ‘They don’t work! There’s nothing, they’ve got nothing. They’ve got a bill to send you. It’s a multi-trillion dollar industry, cancer, and they lie to you. Watch, some day they’re going to get sentenced. It’s criminal what they do.” But in June 2019, Beth died.
