Lauren gained fame after appearing on ‘The Bachelor’ as a contestant. Although she dated and became engaged to ‘Bachelor’ Ben Higgins in 2015, she ended up unlucky in love when they broke up in 2017. She then met Chris. Chris gained fame through his music. He started off as the frontman for his band, Chris Lane Band, in 2012 before going on to launch a solo career. He released his first solo country album in 2016 and his spotlight only got bigger since then.

Lauren and Chris first confirmed their romance in Nov. 2018 and eventually confirmed an engagement on June 18, 2019, after less than a year of dating. Chris proposed on Father’s Day, June 16. After getting married in June 2019, Chris and Lauren announced in Dec. 2020 that they were expecting their first child together, and their son Dutton was born in summer 2021.
