Kanye West & Drake — After years of very public feuding, Kanye West and Drake put their drama behind them in 2021. The guys showed that they were on good terms by teaming up to host a benefit concert for Larry Hoover on Dec. 9. Larry has been serving a life sentence in prison. During the concert, Kanye and Drake each sang some of their own hits, and even teamed up to sing each other’s famous tracks.

In addition to fans turning out to show their support, there were also a number of celebrities in attendance on the big night. Kanye’s ex, Kim Kardashian, was there, along with two of her kids, her sister, Kendall Jenner, and mom Kris Jenner. Megan Fox, Machine Gun Kelly and more also turned out to enjoy the show. Drake

Drake — Drake performs onstage at the Free Larry Hoover benefit concert on Dec. 9. He wore a blue sweatshirt and jeans, as well as a cross necklace, as he performed.

The blockbuster show at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum was broadcast on Amazon Prime and reportedly cost $10 million, according to TMZ. Viewers of the live stream would have witnessed no mention of Larry Hoover, the incarcerated man that the show was benefitting.

Audience members did catch a mention at the start of the show, as an audio recording told crowds, “Larry Hoover was a man who made a mistake. When one person goes to prison, their entire family goes with them. Take out of your mind everything that you have read.”

During the show, fans could buy $100 Balenciaga T-shirts, or $200 hoodies, and $400 jeans with “FREE LARRY HOOVER” on them. Both stars modeled the merch on stage during their performances.

Kim Kardashian

During his performance of the song “Runaway” Kim’s ex-husband begged, “I need you to run right back to me,” and added the line, “More specifically, Kimberly.”

Kim filed for divorce from Kanye in Feb. 2021. Last month during a Thanksgiving message online, Kanye told fans he hoped they would reunite.

“All I think about every day is how I get my family back together and how I heal the pain that I’ve caused,” he said. “I take accountability for my actions. New word alert: misactions. The one thing that all my successes and failures have in common is me.”

During the series finale of ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ in June 2021, she told Andy Cohen, “That was my friend, first and foremost, for a long time. I can’t see that going away. I will forever be Kanye’s biggest fan. He’s the father of my kids. He will always be family.”
