Alec Baldwin: Then & Now — Alec Baldwin, born April 3, 1958, is an actor, whose work spans from dark dramas to absurd comedy. He first made his mark on the soap ‘Knots Landing’, and later rose to greater fame for playing Jack Ryan in ‘The Hunt for Red October’ (1990) and in ‘Glengarry Glen Ross’ (1992). He was nominated for an Oscar for 2003’s ‘The Cooler’.

Alec showed off his comedy chops after turning to TV in 2006 for the Tina Fey-created show ’30 Rock’, for which he won 2 Emmys for. His other notable roles include ‘Beetlejuice’ (1988),’ ‘Working Girl ‘(1988), ‘Talk Radio (1988), ‘The Aviator’, (2004) ‘The Departed’ (2006) and the ‘Boss Baby’ film franchise (2017-present).

In 2022 he was involved in a tragic shooting on the set of his film ‘Rust’. Cinematographer Halyna Hutchins and died in the incident.
