Ricky Garcia (born Ricardo Rene Garcia Jr. on January 22, 1999 in Roosevelt Roads Naval Station, Puerto Rico) is an American singer and actor.
Ricky auditioned for the Season 3 of the U.S. version of The X-Factor. He, along with future bandmates Emery Kelly and Jon Klassen, were eliminated during the boot camp round. However, Simon Cowell invited them to come back, teaming up with Jon to form a trio that would become their band, Forever In Your Mind. Jon left the band in 2014, making way for Kelly’s cousin, Liam Atteridge, to join the group. FYIM released their self-titled EP in 2016, which included the single, “Hurricane.” Since forming, the band has opened for acts such as Demi Lovato and Jesse McCartney. Outside of FIYM, Ricky stars in the Disney Channel original series, Best Friends Whenever, as Naldo Montoya.
Best Known For:
Ricky is best known for being in the boy band Forever In Your Mind, their biggest hit being “Hurricane,” released in May 2016 and his role as Naldo Montoya in Best Friends Whenever.
Personal Life:
Ricky lives in Los Angeles with his family, the youngest of three brothers. He dated Dance Mom’s star Chloe Lukasiak for a year before their split in May of 2016.
