Kether Donohue (born August 22, 1985 in Manhattan, New York City, New York) is an American actress. Kether grew up in New York City, before attending Fordham University. At school, she studied film and theater, even writing, directing and starring in her own short film, The Babydaddy. The film was an autobiographical narrative about a 16-year-old girl’s relationship with her Vietnam vet father. Kether’s earliest roles were providing voices for the English version of imported Japanese animated shows. In 2005, she voiced Skuld in Ah! My Goddess and in 2006, she voice Lily for Kappa Mikey. In 2008, she made her Off-Broadway debut at the Ensemble Studio Theater, playing the lead role in Taylor Mac’s play, Okay. Afterward, she starred as Ava in the production of Blue Before Morning. She has appeared on television series like Hope & Faith, Royal Pains, and The Mindy Project. She received a Critics’ Choice Television Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for her role in the FX, You’re The Worst. Kether has also appeared in films like The Bay and Pitch Perfect. Kether also appeared as Jan in the 2016 production of Grease: Live.
