Jana Kramer‘s vegetable-eating may have prevented she and Chris Evans from getting to know each other better over a decade ago. The 38-year-old singer and actress revealed she and the 41-year-old actor “went on a few dates” back then, but after she ate asparagus and went to the bathroom with “asparagus pee,” she believes it turned him off. It all apparently happened after a “fun” night at the hunk’s Studio City, CA home.
“It was a fun time… but I was getting a little sleepy. And so I was like, ‘Hey I’m gonna go to bed’ or whatever,” she explained on the latest episode of her Whine Down with Jana Kramer podcast. “And so I had asparagus for dinner that night so I went to the bathroom and he immediately went after me. And so that’s the last interaction that I remember is him going into the bathroom after I just went to the bathroom with asparagus pee and never hearing from him again.”
Jana also said that she and him “didn’t hook up that night” before she did “the asparagus walk of shame out of his house” the next morning. “[I] never heard from him again,” she said again before adding that he was “a great kisser” and “super sexy,” regardless of things not working out between them. The beauty also added that she messaged Chris, who is now dating Portuguese actress Alba Baptista, 25, on social media a year ago.
In addition to her comments about Chris, Jana, who was married to football player Mike Caussin from 2015 until 2021, revealed that the 35-year-old athlete didn’t perform oral sex on her for years. “My ex-husband, the third … he didn’t do that for the first time until we were maybe getting back together, when he got out of rehab,” she said. She added that she gets “shy” whenever a guy tries to perform the “intimate” act on her and she usually responds with, “No, no, no, let’s just have sex. Come up, come on.”
Before her latest headline-making podcast episode, Jana got attention for claiming Mike cheated on her with “over” 13 women throughout the time they were together. “I know we’re both in better situations, but I think about this year, my kids won’t wake up in my house [on] Christmas day,” she said in an interview on Red Table Talk a few weeks ago. “That one’s gonna hurt.”
