Kenya Moore revealed she wants to divorce estranged husband Marc Daly, during the Dec. 13 episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta. During last week’s episode, she met with a lawyer to see what her options may be, and while she didn’t seem quite ready to pull the plug on her marriage at the time, she now seems confident with her decision.
“I’m going to go ahead and file [for divorce],” Kenya told Cynthia Bailey during this week’s new episode of RHOA. “But I feel like the best step for me is to file for the custody action, and doing a post-nuptial, and then after that’s all signed off, then filing [for divorce].”
When Cynthia then asked Kenya whether Marc would “really fight” her “over the whole custody thing,” pertaining to their daughter Brooklyn, Kenya said he absolutely would — just “for s***s and giggles.”
Then, during her private confessional, Kenya added: “I decided to file a custody action because I believe, knowing my husband, that is the path of least resistance. I don’t think he wants to have any type of action in court. I think he wants to be able to live the way we’ve been living, without any progress in either direction. But now I have to take my life back.”
And her marriage isn’t the only one that may be coming to an end. Newcomer Drew Sidora made her debut this week, and it became obvious pretty quickly that her six-year marriage is anything but picture perfect. Meanwhile, Porsha Williams‘ release from prison after protesting further ignited her activism. As for her engagement to Dennis McKinley — well, Porsha told her mom that their romance has only gotten more “toxic” in quarantine, despite him being supportive of her protesting.
Finally, Kenya’s new friendship with the outspoken LaToya Ali had everyone turning their heads at Cynthia’s wine tasting event, and Kandi Burruss had a full circle moment while attending daughter Riley’s high school graduation ceremony.
