Larsa Pippen, 46, showed Malik Beasley, 24, some Instagram love by double-tapping a series of photos of the NBA star practicing on the basketball court on Dec. 2. Malik, who recently resigned with the Minnesota Timberwolves and was invited to practice in the team’s in-market bubble this fall, posted the slideshow of his basketball practice a little over a week after he held hands with Larsa at a mall in Miami on Nov. 23. Malik and Larsa are also currently following one another on Instagram.
Meanwhile, Malik and his wife Montana Yao, 23 — who share a home in Plymouth, Minnesota — are not following one another on Instagram at the moment. Malik’s photos, which received a “like” from Larsa, were posted one day after Montana shared a series of messages that many fans believed were reactions to the photos of Malik and Larsa together. “Wow, I don’t even know this man…this is wild y’all…I’m seeing it for the first time just like y’all,” Montana wrote on her Instagram Story on Dec. 1, and addressed her fans in another message by writing, “appreciate all the love y’all, for real.”
The cryptic messages didn’t end there. Montana also uploaded two photos with her 20-month-old son, Makai Joseph Beasley, whom she shares with Malik. “I got you,” the model, rapper and former Miss Teen Malibu wrote over one of photos, and “you got me” over the other. Montana never directly addressed Malik or Larsa by name, though, in her multiple posts — so, HollywoodLife can not confirm the intent behind them.
A day after Montana shared her thoughts on Instagram, Larsa did the same. The Real Housewives of Miami alum, who had a falling out with the Kardashian family earlier this year, shared a cryptic quote on her Instagram Story: “Don’t always trust what you see on social media. Even salt looks like sugar.” Larsa didn’t elaborate on why she posted this quote, or what it meant.
Before Larsa and Malik met up for their shopping trip in Miami, where Larsa lives, Malik had actually asked out Scottie Pippen‘s ex on a date — via a public Instagram comment. “I just want to take you on a date and treat you like a queen,” Malik wrote on Nov. 16 underneath a selfie of Larsa’s, which was shared on Oct. 24.
