Gigi Hadid is slowly but surely introducing her baby girl to the world. The supermodel, 25, shared a new photo with her daughter during a stroll through fall foliage on Wednesday morning. Gigi was pictured gently resting her head on the head of her newborn child, whose identity she protected by hiding her face.
Gigi’s celeb friends were just as eager as fans (and us!) to catch a glimpse at her baby girl. Fellow models Lily Aldridge, Emily Ratajkowski, Tess Holliday and Karlie Kloss all shared sweet comments under her post. Lily and Tess are already moms, while Emily and Karlie are both currently pregnant for the first time.
“So sweeeeeet,” Lily wrote with a pink heart emoji. Emily commented, “The most beautiful,” while Karlie simply shared two heart-eyed emojis. Tess added, “Angels,” along with a teary-eyed emoji.
Gigi’s latest photo with her daughter was presumably snapped at her mother Yolanda Hadid‘s farm in Pennsylvania, where the model and boyfriend Zayn Malik have been quarantining amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. Gigi and Zayn, who welcomed their first child in September, spent most, if not all of her pregnancy on the East Coast.
The model shared the first photos of her daughter (seen below) on November 23. In a series of Instagram uploads, Gigi was pictured holding the newborn in a carrier attached to her chest. The mother-daughter duo, who the proud mom called “besties,” were outdoors and surrounded by stunning fall trees. Gigi also shared the family’s holiday decorations, which she said they put up early just for her daughter.
After much speculation earlier this year, Gigi confirmed her pregnancy during a virtual appearance on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon on April 30 — four months after she rekindled her longtime romance with Zayn.
Since 2015, the couple dated on and off, having split up twice in March 2018 and again in January 2019. Then, Gigi and Zayn reconciled earlier this year, just before she confirmed they were expecting their first child together.
The model and former One Direction singer have not yet revealed their daughter’s name. We can’t wait to learn more about Gigi and Zayn’s bundle of joy!
