Christopher Boykin’s Clothing Line: Will It Be Relaunched For His Daughter?

Before his death, Christopher ‘Big Black’ Boykin had one major concern: The future of his daughter, Isis Boykin, 9. Now, those close to him are making sure to honor his wishes for her by making sure she’s set financially in the aftermath of his May 9 passing. One way of doing that is by possibly having a small relaunch of Big Black’s clothing brand, with all the proceeds going to little Isis, Chris’ manager, Mark Shin, tells TMZ. Plans to relaunch the company were actually in the works before the 45-year-old’s death, but all efforts were put on hold when Christopher died.

There was popularity and demand for Christopher’s clothing line, but management felt that without Chris, who was the “heart and soul” of the brand, the line had no future, according to Mark. However, for the sake of Isis, a relaunch is still possible. As we previously told you, Christopher made certain that his daughter would be set financially for life before he died. He started a college fund just for Isis, and is trusting his friends to look after the money and make sure the little one’s dreams are “fulfilled.”

Chris split from Isis’ mom, Shannon Boykin, back in 2009, but he was living at their home as his health declined in the months leading up to his death. Sadly, the former Rob & Big star suffered a heart attack that killed him at just 45 years old. “He’s everything to me and Isis and we will miss him,” Shannon tweeted on May 10. We are heartbroken for the family.

HollywoodLifers, do you think Big Black’s clothing line should be relaunched?
