So sad. Diane Pierce returned to Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital on March 23, when she finally told Maggie the truth about her breast cancer. Plus, Owen and Amelia's marriage took a turn for the worst, so there were a lot of tears flowing throughout this week's episode of 'Grey's Anatomy'.

As we just told you, the March 23 episode of Grey’s Anatomy was so heartbreaking, and there’s a lot to get through, but we’re going to start with Maggie because her situation left us numb.

Maggie’s mom, Diane Pierce, made her return to Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital for her “boob job” — which is what she told Maggie she was getting just so she could hide the fact that she really has cancer — but once she had a heart-to-heart with Jackson, Diane finally mustered up enough courage to tell Maggie the truth. Of course, Maggie was heartbroken, but she was also mad at Jackson for keeping her mom’s cancer a secret. Fortunately, Maggie had Meredith to lean on, but Meredith also just told Riggs that she’d go on a date with him, so things are about to get super awkward for this threesome!

Meanwhile, Owen and Amelia finally started to hash out their problems when they worked on a trauma case together, but things got so heated that Bailey had to send them to a more private area in the hospital. Apparently, Amelia feels smothered by Owen, and when saying so, she brought up Cristina Yang, saying she must have felt smothered by Owen too. Ouch! Anyway, things don’t look good for them, as Owen still very much wants kids and Amelia’s too frightened to have one. But maybe there’s hope for the future?

Finally, Bailey tried to mend her relationship with Richard, but she didn’t get very far. Fortunately for her, his focus was on Arizona this week, as he was forced to deal with the aftermath of catching her locking lips with Minnick. For a moment, he pretty much called Arizona a slut and said he’s used to her kissing anyone that crosses their paths, but then he took it back and said he called her that out of anger. And then he said he needs time to get used to her dating Minnick.

Side note — DeLuca finally confessed he’s in love with Jo. He only told Stefanie, but she’s pretty much Jo’s best friend, so it’s only a matter of time before Alex’s on-again/off-again girlfriend finds out.
