Some may recognize Mouzam Makkar from her time with The Vampire Diaries and the other amazing work she has done but it is Jessica on The Exorcist that is really turning her career into something very special! 1. She hiked Mt. Kilimanjaro, where she told HollywoodLife.com that, “It was one of the best and hardest things I’ve done!”

2. She can’t go a day without some sort of chocolate, preferably dark. We don’t blame her!

3. Her favorite band is Metallica and as a huge fan she has seen them on multiple occasions.

4. She had a completely different career before acting as she worked in Investment Banking and Private Equity before pursuing acting full time. Talk about a complete difference!

5. Her first step towards professional acting was through the improv scene in Chicago. She took improv and sketch writing classes at Second City and was part of the improv team called “The Elegance Deficit”

6. Her favorite weekend activity is hiking.
